Mobikwik Hires Former Jabong VP To Lead Payment Gateway Mobikwik, a Delhi based startup company that provided a mobile phone based payment system, now a digital wallet major has announced the appointment of former Jabong vice - president Rukaiya Rangwala  as the business head of MobiKwik's payment gateway. A company eyeing a significant share of USD 500 billion digital payments market in India by 2020 will be boosted by Rangwala`s appointment with her vast expertise in business development. Rangwala has over 15 years of experience in the technology and e-commerce industry and has worked across the US, Singapore, Japan, and India. “Her (Rukaiya) extensive experience in business development, expertise in managing operations and strong financial understanding will be instrumental as we aim to grow over 200% by next year,” said MobiKwik co-founder Upasana Taku. The company aims to have over $5 billion worth of transactions on its platform by the end of 2017-18. “MobiKwik Payment Gateway has already done transactions worth $1.8 billion this year,” it said. Rangwala has spent 8 years at Dell before coming to India with Rocket Internet. She was responsible for the Marketplace division at Jabong (managing a USD 100 million annual top line).
